Terrific natural sound
I have owned my Aeon i for 3,5 years and am very satisfied. I especially appreciate the extremely good handling of vocals on the electrostatic panels and the openess of the sound that also benefits modern well recorded electronic music. They also play really well at high sound levels. Positioning was the largest challenge but it is just a question of iteration until you find a good setup. I use electronics from Lyngdorf and dual active subwoofers in a room-corrected setup.
Aeon i - great sound on day 1
I just setup a brandnew set of AEON i and even though they are not broken in they sound fantastic. The sound definition and clarity is just fantastic.
The bass could be a better, but this might be becuase of my receiver as the bass was better with the demo equipment. These are strictly for my music system not my TV and video system.
I have a feeling that I will be very pleased with these for many years to come.
Very Sound
Purchased one pair new from Tweeter, a local distributor in our area, in "2006". Been very satisfied with the performance these last 3 years. I read all the literature, I registered the products to qualify for the extended warranty, and I followed the recommended break in and beyond maintenance as suggested.
Sound like you've never heard
These are absolutely fantastic. You hear instruments you've never noticed before. So natural and pure. It's like having your own private concert
