CLS iia
excellent awesome potential. crystal clear, wonderful tone, Placement is key. Works very well with kinergetic research woofers and active cross over network. cls IIa sounds best full range, using the kinergetic active cross over set at 100 hz just to drive woofer power amp I have owned my cls IIa for 14 years they still thrill me like no other speaker I have owned. M.L. has the best costumer support I have come across.
Old Love back
I recently (August 2013) purchased an pair of used CLS IIa with new Panels. I had these about 15 years ago and really missed them. Today I drive the CLS with an KRELL KSA-50 MK II and what can I say, fantastic sound. The Bass is good and the mid-highs are fast and spacious. I don't use a SUB to get more Bass, there is no Model/ Brand that can keep up with the CLS general Speed and Sound character. Still Today one of the best ML old-timers that when setup properly gives you a thrill.
