The ElectroMotion Series represents the most compelling 'affordable' audiophile-grade home theater speakers ever brought to market.

Las Vegas, NV - CES Expo 2011 - January 6-9 - Venetian Suite 30-229 - MartinLogan, The Great American Speaker Company, is proud to announce two additional home theater speakers in their all new ElectroMotion Series, the ElectroMotion C2 center channel and the ElectroMotion FX2 surround speaker. These new additions feature the world's most advanced thin film transducer technologies - electrostatic and compact Folded Motion™ - establishing a new benchmark for price verses performance.

Designed and timed to coincide with the launch of the upcoming EM-ESL (announced in September at CEDIA) the new EM-C2 center channel and EM-FX2 wide-dispersion surround channel feature the next evolution of Folded Motion technology. MartinLogan's new larger, low distortion Folded Motion™ XT tweeter boasts a radiating surface 40% larger than those found in their award-winning Motion® Series products.

ElectroMotion C2
Priced at $799.95 each (US), the powerful EM-C2 center channel provides a detailed, articulate, and authoritative center channel audio presence. Sized similar to a traditional audio/video receiver the EM-C2 is designed to fit discretely within any standard audio-video cabinet. The EM-C2's perfectly balanced dual 5.25-inch high-excursion, doped fiber-cone woofers are seamlessly blended with the Folded Motion XT tweeter with a high-precision, advanced topology audiophile-grade crossover network. The EM-C2 is rated at 94dB.

ElectroMotion FX2
Priced at $649.95 each (US), the EM-FX2 features dual Folded Motion XT tweeters in a wide-dispersion array ideally suited for surround channel applications. A single 6.5-inch doped fiber-cone woofer provides powerful low-frequency extension. Available in black to match the EM-ESL and EM-C2, the EM-FX2 is designed to corner mount, wall mount or angle-wall mount for versatile surround sound placement in any room.

The ElectroMotion Series also features convenient push-style speaker terminals, adapted from MartinLogan's award-winning Motion Series, with curved inserts that help guide speaker wire effortlessly into place. The terminal's rubber end caps are removable to accommodate banana plugs.

The ElectroMotion C2 and FX2 are scheduled to ship in March 2011 and will be available at high-performance audio retailers worldwide.
