Recommended Media Server Software.

The Media Server Software we have tested and recommend for use with Play-Fi on a connected media server are: 

  • Plex
  • Serviio
  • Twonky
  • XBMC
These programs are full featured, robust, stable, and low-impact, and work well with DTS Play-Fi apps and products.  This list is not exhaustive, and most media server interfaces with good DLNA implementations should work just fine.
