How do I stream music from my computer (Windows, Macintosh, Linux, or Chromebook)?

Windows PC

Windows PC (using DTS Play-Fi)

  • Download the Play-Fi PC app from the DTS website.
  • Once it is installed you will be able to select a Play-Fi compatible device as the audio end point for your PC.
  • Now, sounds from your PC will be played through your DTS Play-Fi compatible wireless audio device.

Windows PC (using AirPlay)

  • Download iTunes from the Apple web-site.
  • Once it is installed you will be able to use iTunes to select AirPlay compatible devices as the audio end point for iTunes.
  • Now, all iTunes content from your PC will be played through your wireless audio device.

Windows (using Bluetooth)

  • Refer to your computer's operating instructions regarding selection and connection of Bluetooth speakers.  
  • Now, sounds from your PC will be played through your Bluetooth compatible wireless audio device.

Macintosh

Macintosh (using DTS Play-Fi)

  • DTS Play-Fi does not work with Macintosh computers.

Macintosh (using AirPlay)

  • Refer to your computer's operating instructions regarding selection and connection of AirPlay speakers.  
  • Now, sounds from your Macintosh will be played through your AirPlay compatible wireless audio device.

Windows (using Bluetooth)

  • Refer to your computer's operating instructions regarding selection and connection of Bluetooth speakers.  
  • Now, sounds from your PC will be played through your Bluetooth compatible wireless audio device.

Linux

Linux (using DTS Play-Fi)

  • DTS Play-Fi does not work on Linux computers.

Linux (using AirPlay)

  • AirPlay does not work on Linux computers.

Linux (using Bluetooth)

  • Refer to your computer's operating instructions regarding selection and connection of Bluetooth speakers.  
  • Now, sounds from your computer will be played through your Bluetooth compatible wireless audio device.

Chromebook

Chromebook (using DTS Play-Fi)

  • DTS Play-Fi does not work on Chromebook computers, even those running an Android emulator.

Chromebook (using AirPlay)

  • AirPlay does not work on Chromebook computers.

Chromebook (using Bluetooth)

  • Refer to your computer's operating instructions regarding selection and connection of Bluetooth speakers.  
  • Now all sounds from your computer will be played through your Bluetooth compatible wireless audio device.
