ARC (for computer) not recognizing the ARC microphone

  • Unplug the microphone’s USB cable from your computer and plug it back into your computer. If your computer has more than one USB port try using a different USB port.
  • While the microphone is plugged into your computer allow one minute for the computer to install the microphone drivers.
  • If driver installation fails, try connecting your subwoofer and microphone to an external USB hub and the hub to your computer.
  • Try to re-trigger installation of the microphone drivers. On your Windows PC, go the Device Manager (right-click “Computer” in the Start menu and select “Properties”). In the list of devices locate “Sound, video, and game controllers” and expand the list of available devices. Right-click on the defective microphone and select uninstall. With the microphone’s USB cable attached to your computer, right-click any item in the Device Manager and select “Scan for hardware change”.

ARC (for computer) software Installation

  • Make sure your subwoofer and ARC microphone are not connected to the computer when installing the ARC software.
  • If you are having trouble installing the software, go to AnthemARC.com and download the installation file to make sure you are using the newest version.
  • If you are still having trouble installing the software or the software gets stuck repeatedly on the first measurement it may be best to try another computer.
